(Ostrava, 19 December 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions regularly monitors the appearance of counterfeits at the municipal marketplace in Ostrava. It has secured more than 1,000 pieces of counterfeits and detected nearly 300 pieces of dangerous pyrotechnics.

(Prague, December 9, 2019) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority evaluated the inspections focused on thermal insulation products for the building industry. These were industrially produced mineral wool products and polystyrene foam products. In total, it inspected 57 products and found 36 deficiencies. Although most errors were of a formal nature, tests carried out by an accredited laboratory showed that some polystyrene insulations don’t meet the manufacturer's declared characteristics.
