CTIA inspected car upholstery services

(Ústí nad Labem, August 11, 2016) Operators of upholstery services are obliged to issue documents in writing about an order of a service in compliance with the Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection. Failure to provide declared amount of drink is a permanent flaw

(Brno, August 10, 2016) Employees of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority in Brno carried out an extraordinary inspection action at 19 alimentation facilities open during nights in the Jihomoravský and Zlínský Regions. Diamonds in jewels for CZK 200 weren’t genuine

(Prague, August 1, 2016) In May and June 2016, employees of the Středočeský and Prague Inspectorate of the Středočeský and Prague Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority focused on e-shops offering jewels. They inspected whether consumers are deceived when purchasing jewels with precious stones. (Prague, July 1, 2016) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority has lately received a high number of complaints and queries concerning spam e-mails sent out from the e-mail address kontrola@wwwcoi.gov.cz. These e-mails aren’t sent by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. However, the e-mails state that during an “inspection” of a particular entrepreneur’s website flaws were detected and an assistance is offered against payment. 8 inspections of stand sell at Brno dam with 6 flaws

(Brno, June 23, 2016) An extraordinary CTIA inspection at the Brno dam was carried out focusing on consumer protection within stand sell during a fireworks show. Flaws were discovered at 6 of 8 workplaces which was 75%. Inspectors imposed an on-the-spot fine amounting to CZK 8,000 in three cases and administrative proceedings will start in the other three cases.
