(Prague, June 19, 2015) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority warns against dangers posed to the health of children who play with the wooden building kit Wooden Toys which was detected in the Czech market. Within a test it was discovered that the kit consists of 27 pieces out of which 25 pieces can all fit in the test tube for small parts. (Brno and České Budějovice, June 19, 2015) Results of inspections carried out at bars show that some entrepreneurs breach laws and harm consumers, but also endanger good reputation of fair entrepreneurs. Within inspections of 9 bars and restaurants opened at night CTIA officers discovered flaws in 6 cases. (Prague, June 15, 2015) When monitoring the market with toys, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority detected a product that posed health risk to consumers, especially to children. It is an owl-shaped keys pendant which lights and hoots. Expert assessment on safety showed that even a short exposure of children’s eye to the light can damage sight within usual manipulation with the toy even if glasses are used.
