The product in question is a Christmas light chain with non-replaceable LED light sources 'IRON CURTAIN LAMP'.

Czech Trade Inspection Authority inspected sunglasses and found flaws in the vast majority of models inspected

(Q1 2024 Report) (Prague, 19 July 2024) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (CTIA) evaluated inspections aimed at ensuring compliance with the Act on Technical Requirements for Products. It inspected toys intended for children up to 14 years of age. In the first quarter of this year, it carried out 306 inspections and found violations of legal regulations in 151 inspections.

The product in question is the battery-operated toy "Dívčí kadeřnický salon" (Girls' Hairdressing Salon). The CTIA has ordered the product to be withdrawn from circulation.

In more than half of inspections in Eastern Bohemia, CTIA inspectors detected the sale of alcohol and tobacco products to juveniles

(Hradec Králové, July 8, 2024) In June 2024, officers of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Inspectorate of Hradec Králové and Pardubice Regions, carried out an extraordinary inspection action, focusing on the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors. The inspections were mostly based on suggestions from consumers and the inspecting bodies' own findings.

CTIA officers carried out a total of 76 inspections at the Karlovy Vary IFF and saw infringements in 40 cases, most often the sale of alcohol to minors

(Karlovy Vary, 7 July 2024) During the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, inspectors of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, the Inspectorate of Plzeň and Karlovy Vary Regions, carried out a total of 76 inspections. Deficiencies were detected in 40 cases (52.63%), 36 inspections were without findings. The most frequent finding, in 26 cases, was the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18.

CTIA staff have so far carried out sixty inspections during the Karlovy Vary IFF, the most frequent finding being the sale of alcohol to juveniles this year

(Karlovy Vary, July 4, 2024) During the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, inspectors from the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Inspectorate Plzeňský and Karlovy Vary, had carried out a total of 60 inspections by Wednesday evening. Deficiencies were detected in 34 cases with the most frequent finding being the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18.
