1.4 million fine to pap oil for poor quality petrol
(Prague, September 4, 2013) General Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority decided about the appeal of the company PAP OIL čerpací stanice, s.r.o. against a fine amounting to 1,500,000 CZK imposed for repeatedly detected sale of poor quality petrol at its filling station in Černošín. The Director General of the CTIA Vladimír Velčovský reduced the fine amount to 1,400,000 CZK after having considered the company’s objections. It is the highest fine lawfully imposed for sale of poor quality fuels in 2013.
