(Results of laboratory analysis of jewels)(Prague, January 29, 2013) After one year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority repeated the inspections of jewels offered at jewelleries. The inspectors checked whether vendors deceit consumers when offering jewels with stones whose composition does not correspond with the declaration. (Results of the inspection of wallpaper products)(Prague, January 28, 2013) When inspecting the assortment of decorative wallpapers, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority focused on 74 distributors and found breaches of obligations as provided by the applicable legal regulations in 39 cases, i.e. more than a half of the inspected subjects. (Annual report on controls of fuels in 2012)(Prague, January 24, 2012) During 2012, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority took the highest number of fuel samples ever, namely 3,172 including 98 samples which failed the requirements of the appropriate standards. The rate of findings was lowest since the second half of 2001, namely 3.1%. (Results of monitoring of fuel quality in December 2012) (Prague, January 15, 2013) In December, the results of the fuel quality inspection were almost on the same level as in November. Totally 201 samples of motor petrol, motor oil, mixed fuel, bio fuel, LPG and CNG were taken on the territory of the Czech Republic. Seven samples failed the criteria as provided by the appropriate technical standards including one motor petrol sample, four motor oil samples and two samples of mixed fuel.
