(Prague, 5 March, 2026) Over the past year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority focused on sellers’ compliance with their obligations under Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection in connection with the provision of discounts when offering and selling goods. It carried out a total of 1,432 inspections within the inspection activity, and found breaches of legal regulations in 734 inspections, i.e. 51.26% of the total number of inspections carried out.
