(Liberec, September 4, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Ústí nad Labem Region and the Liberec Region carried out an extraordinary inspection aimed at selling alcohol to minors in Liberec. CTIA officers found that some entrepreneurs sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. In three of the four inspections, "hard" alcohol was sold to teenage figurant of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.

(České Budějovice, August 31, 2018) The CTIA Inspectorate of the South Bohemian and the Vysočina Regions carried out an extraordinary inspection at the fair in Chlum u Třeboně. It aimed at the inspection of sale of counterfeits and compliance with the technical requirements for products and collected 85 items of counterfeits in the value of more than 50 thousand crowns.

(Hradec Králové, August 29, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Hradec Králové Region and the Pardubice Region carried out 12 stand sale inspections at the Brutal Assault Festival in Jaroměř-Josefov. They found violations of the Act on Consumer Protection at 5 workplaces.

(Ústí nad Labem, August 21, 2018) The Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Ústí nad Labem and the Liberec Regions carried out an extraordinary inspection aimed at touristic places in the Ore Mountains. Out of 15 inspections, flaws were found in 11 cases, which represented more than 70%.

(Ostrava, August 8, 2018) The Inspectorate of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions carried out inspections of stands and restaurants at the venue of the music festival OPEN ŠTĚRKOVNA MUSIC. It carried out 12 inspections and detected violations in 5 cases.

(Hradec Králové, August 1, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority of the Hradec Králové and Pardubice Regions used the end of the school year and used minors as figurants in order to carry out 42 inspections aimed at the prohibition to sell alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years of age. Breaches of the Act on Health Protection from the Harmful Effects of Drugs, were detected in 24 cases which represented almost 60% of all inspections.

(Brno, August 6, 2018) The Czech trade Inspection Authority of the South Moravian Region and the Zlín Region carried out an extraordinary inspection aimed at sale of alcoholic beverages to minors in restaurants and bars. There were violations at 6 of 18 inspected workplaces.

(Praha, July 27, 2018) Based on results of laboratory tests of sampled fuels in the first half of 2018, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority found out that the quality of fuels slightly improved in comparison with the first half of 2017.

(Ostrava, July 31, 2018) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out 39 inspections aimed at compliance with the Act on Consumer Protection at the Colours of Ostrava Festival. It found shortcomings in 20 cases, which was more than 50%.
