1Q: Czech Trade Inspection Authority identified shortcomings in more than half of its toy inspections and banned the offering and sale of 59 toy models

(Prague, 1 July 2026) In the first quarter of 2026, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority continued its inspections focused on compliance with the obligations set out in Act No. 22/1997 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Products, and Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Toys. The inspections focused primarily on the marking and labelling of toys, accompanying documentation and information provided to consumers.
