CTIA inspected products to ensure compliance with the Act on End-of-Life Products. It found breaches in more than a third of the 2,927 inspections carried out

(Prague, 15 September 2026) In 2025, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority focused on inspecting compliance with Act No. 542/2020 Coll., on end-of-life products. In total, it carried out 2,927 inspections last year and found infringements of one of the provisions of the Act on End-of-Life Products within 1,040 inspections (i.e. 35.53% of the total number of inspections carried out).
