(Prague, 10 September 2026) From mid-March to mid-July this year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) carried out an inspection activity focused on inspecting retailers’ obligations in connection with accepting payments from consumers for purchased goods or services. Of the total of 140 inspections carried out, 42 (30 per cent) revealed breaches of legal regulations within the CTIA’s surveillance scope; of these, 12 (8.57 per cent) demonstrated a breach of one of the obligations arising from the legal regulations relating to the focus of this inspection activity
