(Prague, 29 September 2026) The Czech Trade Inspection Authority has assessed the results of the special inspection activity ‘Alcohol, Drugs and Young People 2026’. In cooperation with other state administration, municipal and public health authorities, primarily the Czech Police, it carried out a total of 355 inspections within three months as part of the inspection activity and identified breaches of legal regulations in 189 of these inspections. Within the inspection activity, individuals under the age of 18 were enlisted as test customers in 318 investigations. In 154 cases, alcohol was sold or served to minors.
