(Prague, 12 August 2026) In the second quarter of this year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority continued its inspections of e-shops, focusing on those suspected of failing to comply with their legal obligations. Between 1 April and 30 June 2026, a total of 103 inspections were carried out to verify compliance with the obligations arising from Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, and other legal regulations. Breaches of legal regulations were identified in 94 inspections, i.e. 91.26 per cent of those carried out.
