In the second quarter of this year, the CTIA carried out inspections of second-hand shops and pawnshops. It found breaches of legal regulations in more than 40 per cent of the inspections carried out

(Prague, 18 August 2026) As part of an inspection activity in the second quarter of this year, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority carried out 67 inspections of second-hand shops, pawnshops and antique shops. It found breaches of legal regulations falling within the CTIA’s surveillance scope in 28 inspections (i.e. 41.79 per cent of the inspections carried out).
